| I installed both the Webhttrack and Httrack command line. The web one is easier
for a short string command guy like me, but it worked the first time opening a
new tab and getting the welcome page and setup and all but after stopping the
first download because I had set the domain to high when I click on it it
opens the new tab but is says:
Could not connect to remote server
You tried to access the address <http://xiangwuzei-toshiba-nb305:8080/>, which
is currently unavailable. Please make sure that the web address (URL) is
correctly spelled and punctuated, then try reloading the page.
If I search my web history it will reload the page but clicking on anything I
get the same message. I presume when I click on my internet menu under Gnome
classic it should start a server and then open the tab so it has something to
connect to.
Anyway I am using the command line just fine. Although the download rate is
constantly up and down, 8-26k/s(700MB in 8 hours). Where as when I download
directly from a page with Opera I get a strong consistent download, 60k/s, but
that is why I posting this about Web version not the command line.
Let me know where I can find more info so I can give a more technical
description of the problem. Also can you transfer the updating the website
between WebHttrack and the command line version?
