I have now been able to try out both of your suggestions.
Of course, it works perfectly now :). The Web GUI is very
interesting (as is the "htsserver" program). It reminds me
of when I used to use WinHTTrack before I switched totally
to Linux. I think the web interface will be great for
helping people who are new to httrack get used to it - and
should help me out when I forget which command line options
to use :).
I tried gHTTrack a while ago but it had some major
limitations at the time so I learned the console way
instead. I think it would also be great if the author of
that program ports his work to GTK+2. I suppose the web
interface is very good at keeping HTTrack exactly the same
across all platforms though, which is nice and consistent.
