My immediate reaction is that you should be able to 
add there whatever commas or tabs you want with any 
text processor like sed, or simple search and replace 
in a word processor.

That is, if your spreadsheet program is somehow 
incapable of handling the output as it is now.

What you need analysis for? I mostly use grep to get 
what I want out of the hts-log.

Of course it would be rather easy mod to let the user 
specify what kind of field delimiter should be used in 
the log file.
