Use scan rules (Set Options / Scan rules) ; and adapt the 
filters according to the forum structure ; such as:
-* +www.example.com/fooread.cgi?*section=Linux* +*.gif 
+*.css

(here we only download the fooread.cgi pages 
with "section=Linux" inside the query string ; plus gif and 
css files)
