Have you tried reading the httrack documentation?Skimming parts that are over
your head is not the same as
reading and won't get it done. At some point, in order to
progress efficiently toward the completion of your goals
you might consider outsourcing. For example: although I
normally wash my own car, this weekend I brought in a
detailer because I knew my time was better spent bringing
four more 250GB drives online. That's right - nothing but
PDF all vis-a-vis Google. Had extra time so I made a
little button to send URLs into winhttrack or notepad.
Still had time so I turned my bayesian spam filter into a
parser and put it to work searching for novelty within the
wordlists httrack optionally generates. I came here with
the intention of posting the resources but I can see that
would be a mistake, even more egregious than beating a
query into the ground 20+ times. Information wants to be
free, but the press can resist the standard of the lowest
common denominator, the rationalization that all news is
fit to print that has appeared anywhere else. | |
