Hello Xavier, thanks for your answer, I think you are tired 
to answer silly questions... 
what have confused me is that there is no PAUSE button in 
the windows interface. the only buttons present and active 
when a download is on the way are CANCEL and HELP. 
fortunately, I iscovered later that the menu is still active 
when the download is in progress. And in the menu the 
command "pause transfer" is present and works OK.
