| | Taking a long shot at the problem, I uninstalled HTTrack 3.40 and installed
3.33 instead. I then tried mirroring the same web page and it worked
perfectly. All pictures were visible and no .gif or .jpg files had been
incorrectly renamed.
Maybe 3.40 needs "just one more fix"?
