yes, I've tried both K3 and K4, both of which work to eliminate the hash from
the href value, but they do not eliminate the hash from the filename that the
href points to.  This causes the parsers to not find the file, and even if
they could find the file, for some reason they fail when reading those funny
filenames with hashes in them (I'm using Mechanize from CPAN)
