For me it seems to work. I have Windows and you need to do it exactly the way
the superuser described.
In Windows you need to replace the backslashes with empty space sign and write
everything in one line.
You don't do it "in" Httrack but WITH Httrack:
1. Push WINDOWS + R.
2. Write cmd in the line that opens.
3. Now you are in the black promt window.
4. write cd and the path to the directory you want to copy the website to and
press ENTER
5. now you should be in the right directory
6. Copy superuser's line into the black prompt window and press ENTER.
It should now start to copy files to your directory.
In my case windows didn't find Httrack on my computer, so I had to write
"C:\Program Files\WinHTTrack\httrack.exe" in front of the long line and then
the copying started.
I hope this helps!! | |
